Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-07-10

These terms govern your use of BankLift (the "Service"), operated by its owner ("we"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service does

BankLift converts bank and card statements (PDF, including scanned or photographed) into Excel/CSV files and the formats local accounting software imports. It runs in your browser, with no install.

No account is required. Excel and CSV exports are free; for accounting formats you can pay for one-time access or a credit pack through our payment processor (Stripe), which unlocks your exports.

Your responsibilities

  • You upload only statements you own or are authorized to process (for example, your clients’ statements, with their consent).
  • You use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • You keep the license token / credits you receive at checkout safe — it is what unlocks your exports.

Accuracy: verify before you rely on the output

Conversion is automated and may contain errors or omissions — for example, misread or missing rows. We provide a reconcile check that flags statements whose balances do not add up, but the responsibility to review the resulting file before importing or relying on it is yours.

BankLift is a tool, not an accounting service, and does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice.

Payments and refunds

Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store full card details.

If a paid conversion does not produce a usable file, contact us and we will provide, in good faith, a refund or a replacement credit.

Your data

How we handle uploaded files — processing by an AI provider that does not train on them, then automatic deletion — is described in full on our security and privacy page, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Service, the BankLift brand, and the related software are ours. The files you upload and the files produced by conversion remain yours.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the conversion in question.

Changes

We may update the Service or these terms. Continuing to use it after changes are posted means you accept them.
